We connect, we do not roof
Colorado Roofing Pros is a referral service. Using it costs you nothing — we are paid by the contractors in our network, not by you. We do not climb roofs, we do not pull permits, we do not quote jobs, and we do not employ roofing crews. What we do is take your call, work out which jurisdiction your property sits in, and hand you to an independent contractor who works there.
The contractors are their own businesses
Every contractor we refer you to is an independent company. They are not our employees, our agents, our franchisees or our subcontractors. We do not direct their work, set their prices, supervise their crews or control their schedules.
Any contract for roofing work is between you and that contractor. We are not a party to it, we do not sign it, and we have no authority to vary it on anyone’s behalf.
We do not warrant or guarantee the work
We give no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, over any work performed by a contractor you reach through this site — not its quality, not its timeliness, not its price, and not its outcome. Workmanship and material warranties come from the contractor and the manufacturer, in writing, and those are the documents that bind.
We also make no guarantee about insurance claims. Whether a carrier approves a claim, and for how much, is the carrier’s decision.
Check licence and insurance yourself — before you sign
Verifying that a contractor is properly licensed for your jurisdiction and carries current general liability and workers’ compensation insurance is your responsibility, and it is worth the fifteen minutes it takes.
Ask for the licence number and confirm it with the city or county that issued it. Ask for a certificate of insurance and confirm it directly with the insurer named on it rather than accepting a copy at face value. Colorado law requires a written contract for residential roofing work — get one, read it, and make sure the scope, the materials and the permit are all named in it. A contractor who resists any of this has told you something useful.
About the photographs on this site
The images on this website are stock and illustrative. Any person appearing in a photograph or video here is a model or stock subject, not a contractor in our network and not a customer of ours. The roofs shown are not represented as work performed by contractors we refer you to.
About the information on this site
The guidance published here — on Colorado roofing law, permitting, hail damage, insurance claims and what drives a roofing price — is general information written for homeowners. It is not legal advice, insurance advice or engineering advice, and it is no substitute for someone qualified looking at your actual roof.
Requirements differ between Colorado jurisdictions and they change. Confirm anything that matters to your decision with the relevant building department, your insurer, or a qualified professional.
